Subject: [SurgeMail List] Exceptions and Filtering oddity

Hello List and Support

I have one account with a series of Filtering rules, one of which is:

if 2 X-SpamDetect contains **** Forward - delete
original tospammyforcustomer@example.com

But that rule is trapping email with a header like this:

X-SpamDetect: **: 2.9 sd=2.9
0.07((!X-myrbl:unknown),((X-NotAscii:utf),(!(Received:for
multiple),(!X-Verify-SMTP present)))) 0.90(X-Phrase:isspam)
0.10(x-triplet:traingood) 0.85(X-Verify-SMTP present)
0.73((X-LangGuess:English),(X-To-Not-Matched:true)) 0.29(spfpass)
0.37(X-NotAscii:utf) [nnot=3,ng=2,nsum=0,nb=0,nw=1,-1.07]

which to my eyes contains only 2 stars, not 4.

So 2 questions:

1) Why?

2) Is there a text file that stores these rules so I can look at them
with a text editor?

Thanks!
Neil

It fails because rules containing "*" are assumed to be 'wild card
matches not simple 'contains' matches', we will fix.

2) Yes you can edit the file manually.. it's friend.rul and may appear
in the surgemail folder, the domain mailbox path, or the users mailbox path.
